We are hiring full-time and part-time Food Service Associate employees on a variety of shifts.  The Christ Hospital Health Network is a nicotine-free employer.  This position requires a High School Diploma or GED. The Christ Hospital Health Network is flexible with school schedules.

All positions are required to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Please indicate on your application which shifts you are interested in working. Below are the hours for the shifts.

First Shift- between the hours of 5am-4pm
Second Shift – between the hours of 11:30am-10:30pm
Third Shift - 7pm-3:30pm

• Understands and can perform tasks on patient tray line.
• Serve cafeteria menu items to all hospital customers and employees in a fast, efficient and sanitary way.
• Works in dish room as scheduled.
• Verifies accuracy of shipments and inspects food/supplies for damages and defects.
• Maintains cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of work areas, storage areas, coolers, and large equipment.
• Attends meeting as required to enhance knowledge, job skills, and communications within the department.
• Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or needed.  May assist in other areas as relief.

 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Experience helpful but not required; on-the-job training provided.
