Marketing Communications Specialist

This position is onsite at the Cincinnati, OH facility and can be a hybrid position for 2 days a week.

Ideal candidate: 3-5 years working experience, writing skills (marketing – communications degree). Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience. 

Job Purpose

Support marketing team by creating valuable marketing content to inform sales team and customers about our products and services, helping to improve our brand name recognition and generating quality sales leads.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborates with and supports marketing brand managers and product specialists to develop marketing content
• Writes engaging marketing content relevant for the audience and target industry
• Develops, manages and segments contacts lists
• Designs, creates content, implements delivery of email campaigns for customers and field salesforce.
• Continually reviews, tracks and improves email campaign performance and results to drive quality conversions
• Writes product application articles
• Writes and publishes content for blogs
• Writes press releases, distributes and tracks media source pickups.
• Manages buyer’s guide listings
• Makes recommendations for company’s social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and others as needed)
• Updates content for company websites with emphasis on search engine optimization while complying with company branding standards.  Makes recommendations to improve website content and design.
• In-house photography of equipment
• Assists with other sales & marketing projects as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ Years of Experience
• Demonstrated experience in writing technical marketing content
• Expertise with latest marketing automation technology
• Experience with Google analytics
• Knowledge of HTML code
• Proficient with web content management systems
• Adobe Photoshop experience a plus
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Works well independent and with a team
