Caregiver

Position Summary: Caregiver is responsible for supporting the nurse in providing direct patient care to the Sisters. She treats patients and helps in their rehabilitation.

Position Responsibilities:
 Assists residents in dressing, bathing and grooming
 Follows care plans for individual sisters
 Changes bed linens,
 Reports all changes, physical or mental, to the nurse
 Meets with appropriate personnel to discuss sisters’ needs
 Serves food for residents following special prescribed diets
 Attends meetings and in-services
 Other duties as required

 



Position Qualifications:
Required:
 Ability to work with a broad range of employees and external contacts
 Ability to deal with sisters in a compassionate and caring manner

Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required. We will train the individual who will assist with the care of the Sisters.
Position is part time nights (10PM until 6:30 AM) and fill in for vacations
