Paramedic

Part time Paramedic in the Butler County Jail.

Job Duties:

Render first aid and emergency medical care to prisoners.

Record all encounters, medications, treatments or any other services rendered to the prisoner's electronic medical record.

Conduct physical examinations and daily sick-call.

Issue/assist prisoners in taking their prescribed medications.

Arrange appointments with outside providers.

Treat as ordered by the physicians or his/her designee.

Monitor the safety/effectiveness or the environment/equipment.

State of Ohio Paramedic Certification.

Current BLS card.

Be able to complete a thorough background investigation, including passing a drug screen test.
