Truck Driver/Transportation

In collaboration with the Transportation Manager, our Truck Driver transports veneer and logs that go to our customers. Key responsibilities include:
• Operates truck and loads within guidelines
• Monitors and properly reacts to operation problems
• Perform routine inspections of truck and load
• Practices safe equipment operation. Promotes team safety
• Keeping in touch with traffic department during the day
• Completes required paperwork daily and accurately
• Must strap loads on our curtain side trailers and trucks

• Class “A” CDL
• Clean driving record
• Three years experience
• Attention to detail/paperwork
• Self-motivated
• Must pass DOT physical & drug test
• Good attendance
