Do you like your weekends off and most weeks having a 3 day weekend? If so,

Hamilton Custom Made Security has positions available for experienced Welders. These positions are DIRECT HIRE Opportunities at our Mason, Ohio and Amelia, Ohio locations with four-day workweeks, and occasional Friday!

Hiring Welders for our Amelia and Mason Ohio facilities.

Typical shifts are:

1st Shift – Monday through Thursday; 5:00 am - 3:30 pm

1st Shift – Monday through Thursday; 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

2nd Shift - Monday through Thursday 3:30 pm – 2:00 am, with 10% shift premium

All associates will move to the new Milford, Ohio facility when the building is completed later this year.

Summary:

Perform welding preparation, welding and weld finishing operations with steel that involves welding operations utilizing MIG and some departments require special welding: TIG, etc.. Utilizing various gauges of steel, parts and components to fabricate items used in the manufacturing process. Meeting customer specifications, drawings, or other forms of instruction. In addition, you will: Clean weld joints and/or work pieces. you will need to perform welding operations in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions. Welding together metal components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, or manufacturing operations sheet (MOS), using electric arc-welding equipment. Guiding electrode along weld joint, manually or semi-automatically; position or clamp work pieces together or assemble work pieces into a jig or fixture, Ensure weld meets the bead size and other specifications for the product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interprets blueprints, Process Flow Instructions and other written or verbal instructions
  • Accurately reports shop floor production data to Process or Team Lead for input to computer terminal and/or written reporting
  • Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
  • Maintains quality and productivity standards
  • Maintains equipment, including daily cleaning to maintain good housekeeping and adheres to plant regulations and safety rules.
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Technical school plus 6 months experience on the job or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with hand and power tools required
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary
  • Consistent work history
  • Good attendance and punctuality
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to their job
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check (7 years)
  • Physical proof of a High School Diploma/GED
  • Wear steel-toe shoes starting on your first day

Compensation is commensurate with work experience and skill.
