Machine Operator

At Clippard we have an opportunity for a Machine Operator.  If you are willing to learn and have at least 1 year machine, factory, deburring or assembly experience please read on, this may be the place for you!  A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are also beneficial in this role.

Essential Functions-

• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Position and secure work pieces on machines by using holding devices
• Remove and measure work pieces from machines
• To understand and ensure that parts must conform to specifications by reading engineer drawing and using measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, micrometers and microscopes
• To be able to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 25 pounds and to work with some chemicals.
• Proper protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required
• The ability to work with small parts and to work closely with others in a team environment.
• Work overtime when necessary

Qualifications-

High School Graduate or High School Equivalent: required
Minimum 1 year experience machining or factory
Ability to read blueprints a plus
Some computer knowledge is required.
Reliable with good attendance.
Microsoft office skills
Deburring experience a plus
CNC experience a plus.
