Latchkey Assistant – Before/After School Care – Fairfield City Schools

Summary:                                           
Provide before and after school care for children in Kindergarten-5th grade. Assist the team leader in developing a fun and engaging atmosphere for children, while ensuring their health and safety in the educational environment.

Hours & Location:
5.5 hours/day - AM Session 6:15-9:30 a.m., PM Session 3:45-6:00 p.m.
West Elementary (1 opening) and Compass Elementary (1 opening)

Applicants that are offered a position or substitute opportunity shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCI criminal background check.  Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the Fairfield City School District.

Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Qualifications:
Ability to apply for and maintain a valid Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). Other training as required.
