Correction Deputy

Supervises and monitors inmate activities and behavior to ensure a safe and controlled enviorment. Ensures inmates receive a level of personal and health care services that are consistent with that required by law. Escorts/transports, monitors and supervise inmates to and from various locations; maintains order and control of inmates and visitors. Accompanies doctors, physician assistants, nurses and other professionals on treatment/medication rounds. Processes inmate requests, provides information and investigates complaints as appropriate, interviews and counsels inmates.

Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Pass background, physical and drug screen
Ability to work varied schedules
No felony convictions
