Electrical Assembly Internship

Murrplastik is seeking an Electrical Assembly Intern to assist in the production and development of cable management solutions for industrial robots. This position will also assist in developing new internal processes to streamline the production of dress packages for industrial robots. Acquire the knowledge and skills of working with a growing and fast paced multinational company.

• Ability to identify different color electronic components
• High attention to detail and organization
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• Travel – As needed
• Work closely with wiring personnel to learn, understand, and apply processes of robotic dress packages
• Test robotic dress packages for functional performance
• Work from wiring prints and schematics
• Assist with the production and assembly of robotic dress packs
• Occasional on-site visit to customers to trouble shoot electrical issues
• Solder, crimp, cut, and route wires according to schematics
• Cut cables to specified lengths using wire cutters
• Terminate all electrical wiring according to schematics using proper tools
• Identify and assemble connectors for in house testing unit
• Confer with engineering to plan and review production and quality
