Description
The City of Middletown is accepting applications for the position of Secretary III. Administrative position responsible for a variety of office work involving performance of a variety of tasks and complex clerical duties. Previous office administration experience required. Position requires advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Position has daily interaction with employees and the public. Work is generally performed with minimum supervision and requires some independent judgment and action.
The work is primarily sedentary, with some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, and equipment.
Salary: $35,813 to $47,212 annually with benefits. All applicants will be required to take a written examination on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.
Job Requirements
Requirements: Excellent administrative, organizational, customer service and communication skills; proficient in advanced computer skills; and the ability to work well with all levels of staff and general public. Previous office administration experience required.
