Activities Assistant – STNA

Looking for assistant to our Programming Director in a Memory Care Community. This position is full time, some weekend work required. This person will need to be creative and have experience as an STNA or CNA, since he/she is asked to assist with care at times. It is preferred that this person has also assisted with senior residents programming in the past.

The duties and responsibilities of the Activities Assistant/STNA include providing direct services (ADL’s) and/or health care to residents in an assigned/specialized memory care unit/area under the direction of the Health andWellness Director. Such services/care will be performed timely and accurately in accordance with federal, state and localregulations and current acceptable policies, procedures and principles relating to the operation of the Community. This position encourages socialization, cognitive awareness, self-expression, and physical activity in aplanned and structured activities program.
