Assistant Down Technician Machine Operator

Downlite is a manufacturing company that services the bedding and outdoor industries. It is privately owned and family oriented. The Feather and Down plant, located in Cincinnati, has open day shift and night shift positions for machine operators. The new hire will be trained in the first 90 days, and must be able to meet productivity standards. Environment can be dusty and unfavorable for those with allergies. A protective mass can be worn, but is not required. After 90 days, the person will be eligible to become an Assistant Down Technician. Pay starts at $14/hour with growth based on experience and performance. Second shift is entitled to $1.50/hour night bonus. Overtime is offered.

Individual must be able to stand for an extended period of time between breaks, lift up to 50 pounds, and work 12 hour shifts with built in overtime. The company is looking for dedicated individuals with a High School Diploma or GED. Prior machine experience is a plus.
