Truck Driver (2nd Shift)

Maneuver tractor trailers to designated docks for loading and unloading on as needed basis. Perform other job related duties as requested by the area supervisor/lead person: including the receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of raw materials and/or finished goods arriving in, on hand within, or leaving the Receiving/Shipping facilities.

Majority of time will be spent performing Material Handler duties.

• Opening on second shift (2:00pm - 10:30 pm).

Operate tractor and maneuver trailers of various needed material to designated locations within the plant.
Ability to connect and disconnect tractor from trailer as required.
Conduct a daily inspection of tractor and trailers before moving. Maintain a list of any needed repairs and report to area supervisor as necessary.
Load/unload “yard” trucks to maintain proper flow of materials to and from production and/or packing areas. Load trucks with finished product that is being transferred to the warehouse and/or shipping facility.
Unload, sort and document arrival of finished product at warehouse facility using lift truck, related equipment and radio frequency hand held terminal.
Perform routine housekeeping in work area(s).
