Workforce Services Strategist

The Workforce Services Strategist reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent.  This position is responsible for building and maintaining strategic and sustainable contacts with community organizations, local businesses, government agencies, and other stakeholders to further Butler Tech’s mission and vision.  Primary projects include the creation and support of a Butler Tech alumni network and the development and implementation of a viable internship/apprenticeship experiential learning program for secondary students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Willingness and ability to obtain an Educational Aide permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education;
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, public relations, or other relevant area OR equivalent combination of education and experience;
• At least 3 years professional experience in apprenticeship/internship coordination, sales from warm and cold leads, and/or business relationship development;
• Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships;
• Evidence of experience leading and/or mentoring young people;
• Strong business acumen;
• Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
• History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
• Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.

START DATE:   July 1, 2021

SALARY:   Placement starting at $61,169

BENEFITS:  Includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; tuition reimbursement

WORK YEAR:  230 days per year - 8 hours/day
