Description
Tri-City Industrial Power, subsidiary of East Penn Mfg. Co. (the manufacturer of Deka Batteries and Accessories), is seeking an Industrial Service Technician. Candidate is required to hold a good driving record as well as strong communication skills. Applicants should possess a basic electrical/ mechanical background and must be able to understand and use a basic multi-meter. Limited overnight travel will be required. The applicant must be able to work alone and be a self-starter.
Desirable skills include: basic electrical/electronic experience with 120 volt 1-Phase to 480 volt 3-Phase AC Voltage, knowledge of AC to DC rectification, capable of understanding basic schematics, basic mechanical experience, taking battery voltage and gravity readings, understanding how a lead acid battery works, and experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. The preceding skills are not mandatory but would be an asset.
