Southwest Regional Water District (SWRWD) is a rural water district providing water service to 15,500 customer connections in western Butler County and portions of southern Preble County, Hamilton County, Warren County, and Montgomery County in Ohio and Franklin County and Union County in Indiana.

The District owns and operates two water treatment facilities which produce an average of 3.8 million gallons of water per day, and distributes the water to its customers through nearly 700 miles of water main.  33 employees operate and maintain these facilities, along with 28 water tanks and numerous booster pumping stations.

SWRWD employees participate in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.
