Nursing Responsibilities include:
- Implements a resident plan of care.
- Performs direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations
- Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Delegates suitable components of the care plan to the nursing assistants, provides guidance and supervision when necessary
- Consults with and validates data
- Records pertinent information in the patient record
- Identifies and evaluates the resident's response to health problems and treatments
- Communicates residents care needs to others involved in the care
- Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development
Requirements of RN/LPN's:
- Nursing License required
