STNA Opportunities
- Full Time Nights: 6:30p - 6:30a
- 12-Hour Shifts
The STNA & Certified Medication Aide Responsibilities Include:
- provide direct care to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policies and procedures and report resident needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.
- This role will also perform Certified Medication Aide duties. In this role, the Certified Medication Aide will administer prescription medication under the direction of a licensed nurse.
- This individual will maintain full knowledge of duties, responsibilities and accountability and shall act in accordance with the laws pertaining to administration of medication by a certified medication aide. They will also demonstrate competency.
Requirements for this position:
- A minimum of one year experience as STNA
- Completed an Ohio Board of Nursing approved Medication Aide Training Program
- Medication Aide Certification by the Ohio Board of Nursing
The STNA must be physically able to
- Move (sit, stand, bend, and lift) intermittently throughout the workday
- Lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds
- Assist with the evacuation of residents if necessary
