Activities Assistant
Rest Haven is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Activities Assistant.
Position Opportunities Include:
PRN – Weekend Warrior
Will work some evenings
Interested candidates must demonstrate capabilities with the following:
Coordinate engaging activities for residents
Ability to build trusting, professional relationships with patients, families, caregivers and referral sources
Professional demeanor in facilitating activities as scheduled on calendar
Engaging with residents in small group activities
Capacity to assess individual resident interests
Willingness to assist residents with their personal preferences for daily activities
Capable of collaborating with other departments to conduct meaningful resident engagement
Prove interested in providing one-on-one time with residents
Aide with documentation of assessments, participation records, and other information as required by department leader
