Qualifications
- Must be able to demonstrate electrical knowledge and troubleshooting
- Must have and be able to maintain a valid a drivers license with a clean record
- Be able to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, both in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records using basic mathematics
- Physically able to bend/squat/kneel and capable of lifting 40-60 lbs on an as needed basis
- Education and Experience for Field Service Technician
- High School Diploma or GED
- Industrial/commercial machinery experience
- Electrical knowledge and understanding
Responsibilities
- The Technician is expected to perform the necessary duties associated with laser engraving machines which includes testing of the laser equipment and components both in house and at the customer site
- The Technician must have the ability to diagnose and replace the electrical based components of the laser machine or associated components as needed
- Meet customer deadlines for machine preparation and repairs
- Learn and grow both personally and professionally within our company
- Be a team player as well as work independently
- Simplify and explain the root cause of problems to customers and teammates as needed
- Operate hand and power equipment for material handling
- Prioritize workloads and handle multiple projects and deadlines
