Grinder Operator

We're looking for OD Grinders to join our growing team on second shift! We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20 to $26 per hour, depending on experience, plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential!

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday

Monday - Thursday: 4:30pm - 3:00am

General Description of Duties:

Setup and operate CNC and/or Manual OD (outside diameter) grinders; read and interpret customer drawings; inspect work with micrometers.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to read and interpret customer prints and specs
• Setup and operate hydraulic/manual grinders
• Measure diameters and runout using Arnold gages, micrometers, snap gages, and dial indicators
• Dress grinding wheels
• Maintain specified surface finish
• Follow company provided work orders and instructions
• Frequent lifting
