Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that production equipment and facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer manuals, engineering specifications, and sketches.
- Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and reassemble plant machinery, including air compressors, drills, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, and grinders.
- Perform preventative maintenance and verify proper machine operation following repairs or maintenance.
- Order, track, and maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain the facility, grounds, and manufacturing areas through routine and corrective maintenance activities.
- Work collaboratively with team members and treat all associates with professionalism and respect.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; trade school coursework or technical training preferred.
- Completion of a relevant technical program (e.g., industrial maintenance) or up to one (1) year of related hands-on experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation, manuals, and blueprints.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 90–100% of the work shift.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels and dust.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
