Welder

Upside Innovations is a growing manufacturer of aluminum stairs, ramps and canopies.  We are seeking both skilled and entry level Welders to work in our fabrication shop.  Our Welders can proceed from entry level through several higher levels of skill and pay.  We operate on a one shift daytime schedule and offer an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and 401k plan.

Essential functions include:

• Production MIG welding of aluminum parts and assemblies
• Fabrication set up and custom layout
• Use of jigs and fixtures, welding equipment, supplies and tools
• Perform other production jobs as needed in areas of machining, shipping and installation

High school diploma or equivalent, technical or skilled trade degree is a plus
Reliable, team player, detail oriented and good communicator
Ability to MIG weld, use jigs and fixtures, custom layout
Mechanical aptitude to trouble shoot
Capable of reading assembly and part drawings, perform mathematical calculations and use measuring equipment
