Industrial wet spray painter

Wet spray painter for high production automated paint line with conveyor, spray painting onto bare steel and metal.  Need to know how to mix and apply a single-phase paint.  Experience with air assist/airless HVLP and pressure pot paint system.  Need to be respirator qualified and with experience using continuous air supply respiratory.  Will perform maintenance and/or repair on all paint equipment and down draft paint booth. Must have a minimum of 5 years spray paint experience. Knowledge of how to mix and apply two coat polyurethane paint and one cost primer not essential but would be a plus.

 

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficiently operate a Kremlin & Binks Spray Gun.
Be quality oriented while also possessing the ability to paint quickly.
Know and understand various paint applications and how paint interacts and responds to certain conditions and temperatures.
Achieve auto body look with industrial products.
Able to push/pull cranes parts on rail up to 300 lbs.
Be able to lift 50 pounds.
Stand and walk minimum of 6 hours during 8 hour shift.
Be safety minded and focused on helping others
Carry paint guns/hoses while wearing respirator in paint booth.
Is proactive and creative in problem solving techniques
Committed to showing up to work on time and attendance is a value.
Committed to working overtime as needed including Saturdays
