My name is Genevieve, I am the store Manager at Luke’s Sewing Centers in Springdale Ohio. It is a family ran business with 4 stores in the Tri-State. I am looking for help in our Springdale location. We are located on Princeton Pike directly across from Macy’s in Tri-County Mall. We are in a plaza next to Wood Craft, Hobby Lobby, Harbor Freight and more. Our hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday 10-6 and Saturday 10-5, Closed Sundays and Mondays.

I would prefer full time but open to part time. We are looking for someone willing to lift 30 pounds or more at any given time. We sell sewing machines and we constantly have ladies bringing them in for classes and repair and need someone willing and able to carry them in for our ladies. We have around 6-8 events a month and need the room flipped and ready for these events in addition we need said person to carry in all 8-12 machines in and set them up. Nothing regarding this description is difficult, just want to stress we want someone willing, able, and happy to comply. Our ladies tend to be elderly and we appreciate being able to provide this service.

In addition to lifting we will train said person on light sewing machine repair. We also need someone with a pleasant attitude and willing to help provide Luke’s excellent customer service. We deal with the public and we have a wonderful reputation of providing our customers with an excellent experience while shopping with us so we would need our new hire to exemplify those qualities as well.

There are opportunities for commission for sales. Sales is not a requirement but an option if he or she is interested. We all work very well together and are known as “plesantville” we need someone that will support that reputation as well!
