Matandy Steel is a family owned and operated steel service center. We are an industry leader in the distribution of low carbon, flat roll steel products in coil, sheets and blanks. Many businesses, corporations, and industries rely on us to process steel, including automotive, lawn and garden, construction, hardware, office furniture, appliance, agriculture and HVAC industries.

In 2022, the Matandy family of companies was sold to an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). This move made Matandy 100 percent employee-owned and ensured the future of the company as a people-first, customer-first, and community-first organization.

Today, our campus totals more than 120,000 square feet of production and warehouse space. Even as we expanded our staff and customer base, we stayed true to the values on which we were founded. That’s because our strength isn’t just in our steel — it’s in our people. We still go the extra mile to get to know our customers and their needs. We all share the same energy and drive, the commitment to get it right, the strength to make the right decision for each other and our clients, and pride in a job well done. And we believe that following through on our promises is not about checking off tasks — it’s about honoring our word.
