Rosebud Home Care, LLC, was incorporated in the State of Ohio on January 20, 2017 with the express purpose of supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities gain some form of independence as they are able to. Our mission statement is to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities, encourage and promote their level of independence in an environment of mutual respect. The concept of mutual respect stems from our focus on individual/person-centered aspect. Our is belief that people with developmental and intellectual disabilities are people first. The main emphasis is on viewing the “whole” person, not just the person that has identified needs. Hence our motto is to focus on abilities and strength, because disability does not mean inability.

Our Company Core values include:

• Growth of individuals so that they are highly independent and maintain a high level of functioning both physically and cognitively.
• Promote individuals’ worth, self-determination, and self-worth through offering an environment of choices and some level of freedom within a supervised environment.
• Promote choices, opportunities, and quality of life of the individuals through improved and expanded services.
• Enlighten and involve community and families through educational programs, publications, and presentations about persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• To continuously diversify and improve our agency and services encouraging individuals to confidently blossom to independence.

As an agency, we offer individualized quality care. We take care of all our individual’s basic needs as identified in their ISPs. In the process, the agency understands that discovery is not an event. Through documentation and paying particular attention to individual needs and progress, new discoveries are uncovered with each new capacity, new relationship, or new direction. Person centered plans are updated when the individual wants to make changes, or when a goal or aspiration is achieved. This emphasizes the agency’s individual centeredness and the aim to form life plans that are centered on the individual for whom they are built and meet the person where they are at various times in their life.

As the CEO at Rosebud Home Care, I am personally committed to making sure our work place environment is guided by a code of ethics and fundamental values, while taking into consideration the need for respecting our diversity and difference. I firmly believe that with these values, we will surely work our way to leadership in our field through continuous commitment to provide a loving care environment for all those we are privileged to serve.
