CERTIFICATIONS NOT REQUIRED. Although, 6 months experience giving care to people or a background in community involvement and good work history, having a compassionate heart is a must. You will be required to complete a skills questionnaire upon your application visit. All care we give is NON MEDICAL, all of our caregivers do Assistance Of Daily Living only. This would include assistance with bathing, dressing and household chores, for the elderly. These are tasks you would do for possibly your own parents or grandparents.
Start Pay Based on Experience, Skills and Availability –
Range …. $10.00 to $13.00 hr…….
We pay more for lower hour care visits – All 2-hour care visits pay $14.00 to $15.00 per hour
Time and one ½ overtime paid for all Major Holidays and over 40 hours.
Mileage reimbursements = .55 cents per mile for errands you do for client.
Your Benefits with Visiting Angels
One year Tuition Reimbursement for S.T.N.A or C.N.A if you can commit to working at least 20 hours a week and stay with us for a period of one year. Nursing Students would receive same as STNA.
Paid Vacation of 40 hours for those who are full time equivalent.
