2nd Shift Converting Machine Operator

We are looking for a material conversion machine operator.  (Previous work in the converting industry not required but a big plus.)
Machine Operators will operate various converting equipment to die cut films, tapes, and industrial materials, rewind and slit pressure sensitive tapes. Operator responsibilities include maintaining production runs and visually inspecting finished product as it is being produced to ensure quality and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of machines including rotary die cutter, single lathe slitter, slitter/rewinder, flexo printing, and flash cut table.
• Review work orders to understand scope and parameters of scheduled jobs.
• Determine material quantities required for each job.
• Align and configure machine. This includes troubleshooting issues and making basic repairs.
• Inspect production samples to evaluate quality ensuring conformity to specifications.
• Package finished material in specified cartons.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience working in converting industry or related industry preferred.
• Must be able to physically operate machinery. This involves bending and kneeling frequently, standing for long periods of time, and being able to lift up to 65 pounds at a time.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

2nd Shift- Must be willing to work M-Th 3:30pm-2am

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
