The City of Blue Ash is recruiting to fill vacancies for the position of BANQUET SET UP PERSON.  This position is responsible for the physical set up of events for corporate meetings, wedding receptions, trade shows, social events and any special needs requested by the clients or management.

This position is permanent part-time and primarily works out of the beautiful Cooper Creek Event Center & Blue Ash Golf Course.  This position will also enjoy some cool perks, such as:

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

You will be:

• Setting up venue space with the appropriate equipment and materials, including tables, chairs, glasses, water, pens, writing tablets and other items requested.
• Storing equipment and materials neatly in proper areas.
• Changing linen and putting it in the correct areas for cleaning by the linen company.

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be able to work week nights from 6 pm to 10 pm and weekends from 11 pm to 2 am.
• Good customer service skills.
• Action oriented and productive.
• Physical agility to conduct various activities including, but not limited to, long periods of standing and lifting materials up to 75 pounds. This position is seldom sedentary and includes walking or moving for continuous periods of time.
