Bench Work Machine Operator

Greater Cincinnati manufacturing company is seeking 6 employees to work as Bench Work Associates for their production area. You will be responsible for assembling cables which consist of spiral tubes and cable wires. Some tubes will need to be cut down to size. You are also responsible for refilling stock as needed. You must have good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity. You will also be required to work as a Floater when needed. For this position, you will gather cables from the machine operators and take them to Bench Work area for them to be assembled and checked.

You must be able to work at least 2 of the 3 shifts in order to be considered for this position. These are temp-to-hire positions. Starting pay is $11.00 per hour on first shift as a temporary associate. There is a shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a Union company so you are REQUIRED to join the Union and pay Union dues upon accepting a full-time position with the company.

There is chance for advancement with company if you have some machine operation experience and are willing train on off shifts if necessary.

In order to be considered for an open position, you must pass a series of written tests, specifically; basic spelling and math. Also, you must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
