Description
Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• descaling carbide blanks with a bench grinders
• join two metals together with brazing paste
• enter parts into a semi automatic machine
• test run out
• use sandblaster to clean shanks on tools
• Promotes safe working practices, monitors corrective and disciplinary actions and provides feedback to employees.
• Monitors manufacturing processes to ensure optimum efficiency, quality, and production.
• Participates in departmental meetings as necessary.
• Occasionally troubleshoots equipment and process problems.
• Perform general inspection and sorting needs throughout the plant in accordance with all safety standards.

Education and/or Experience:
• Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability:
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
