Chesterwood Village, a senior care facility with Hillandale Communities, is seeking a full-time Server to join our food service team in West Chester.

Must have the flexibility to work every other weekend and some holidays. Please note that this is not a tipped position.

Experienced, hard working and outgoing individual to join our team. Responsible for providing guests with efficient, courteous and professional service to ensure an excellent dining experience.

Our Servers provide assistance in a variety of functions, including:
  • Taking food orders and delivering beverage orders in a timely manner
  • Ensuring resident and guest satisfaction by providing quick, efficient and pleasant delivery of food
  • Serving meals at the appropriate temperature with quality and presentation in mind Assisting in bussing and resetting tables
  • Ensuring that quality, cleanliness and safety standards are being met according to established practice, documented standards and regulatory guideline.
We are seeking applicants with:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of serving experience, preferably in the restaurant setting
  • Knowledge of food safety preparation and handling
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A high degree of service orientation, a positive attitude and ability to multi-task
  • Flexible schedule – ability to work weekends and various hours
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population and the public
  • An engaging personality, a positive attitude and a passion for working with the senior population
  • Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality
