Description
The Direct (Adult) Service Provider works directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings.
Available Schedules
Full Time:
Monday - Friday; Monday, Wednesday, & Friday ---OR--- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
7:30am to 3:30pm or 8am - 4pm
Paid Training
DSPs at PSU work in settings to promote growth in the areas of work and recreation/socialization.
DUTIES:

Provides direct care and support to each individual served.

Provides support services to assist each individual with meeting their identified outcomes and goals.

Responsible for assisting with training and staff development in each area served.

Model Best Practices and work with the Supervisors to promote staff growth.

Coordinate with PC staff and Supervisors to provide work opportunities, social/recreational opportunities, coaching on and support with daily life skills and employment options.

Responsible for completing daily documentation as required by the agency and state and federal rules.

Communicate unusual incidents or changes in behavior to the PC and/or Supervisor.

Ensure health and safety of those individuals in services.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED

Valid Driver's License
