CNC Machinist

JOB BRIEF

We are looking for an experienced CNC machine operator to join our team. This position is for 1st shift. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently while keeping a “quality first” mentality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, operation, and light programming of CNC lathes and mills

• Understand and interpret blueprints to verify conformance

• make adjustments and verify using a variety of measuring instruments

• Troubleshoot issues as they arise

• Manage and track stock of tooling/inserts

• Keep machines and workstations clean and organized

• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure the functionality

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a CNC operator

• Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings

• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills

• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach

• Good communication skills
