- MUST be able to develop CNC Programs from engineering drawings and specifications
- Operate and program CNC machines to include lathes, mills, EDMs
- Understanding of G&M Code, CAD/CAM programs
- Familiarity with HAAS and MAZAK machines
- Long-term, stable work history
- 5+ years experience programming CNC machines

MACHINIST/Machine Tool Operator
• Job requires ability to follow written instructions , read blueprints and engineering drawings, take verbal
instructions, and work from other specifications.
• Must be able to use precision measuring instruments, scales, etc. to verify and check dimensional
accuracy of work.
• Works from CNC programs, operation sheets, shop order routers and travelers, process planning
instructions, etc.
• Sets up and operates Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) turret lathes, single spindle vertical and
horizontal machining centers.
• Familiarity with HAAS and MAZAK machine tools a plus.
• Operates various types of machine tools and performs progressive machining operations in support of
production or job shop machining.
• Has familiarity with working properties of various materials, metals, plastics, etc.
• Must work well with others!
• Physical lifting involved .
• Having own tools a plus.
• High School Degree requirement at minimum.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop CNC programs from engineering designs and specifications
- Operate and program CNC machines including lathes, mills, EDMs
- Perform machine setups and proofs including tooling, work holding, and cutter paths
- Optimize CNC programs for shortest cycle times and best surface finishes
- Ensure quality, accuracy and repeatability of CNC manufactured parts
- Recommend process improvements and workflow enhancements
Skills Required:
- Associates degree in CNC programming or 3+ years’ experience
- Knowledge of G&M code, CAD/CAM systems and CNC machine functions
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong math, measuring and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently or as part of a team
