Computer Technician

Experience in technical work that involves the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software, printers, and other technology related items. Candidates should have good technical writing skills as writing both technical and end-user documentation is required.

The City of Middletown is accepting applications for the position of Computer Technician. All applicants will be required to take a written examination on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Position is responsible for technical work that involves the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software, printers, and other technology related items. Requirements: Graduation from accredited two-year college with major course work in computer science and computer network hardware and software; and two to five(2-5) years professional experience with PC operating systems, PC application software, and PC networking software. Technical writing skills required in order to write both technical and end-user documentation. Possession of a valid Ohio Driver’s License required. Salary Range: $45,998 to $60,591 plus excellent benefits.
