he Mike’s Carwash Construction/Project Team Member will fabricate, assemble and install new location wash equipment. This role will also assist with implementation of other company-wide projects at our existing locations throughout all operating markets. Construction/Project Team Members report to the Construction Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Installation of new wash equipment onsite at new and existing Mike’s locations
  • Fabrication and assembly of wash equipment
  • Parts ordering and receiving for projects and new construction
  • Assisting with implementing special projects as assigned throughout the company
  • Assisting with large scale maintenance projects or equipment updates
  • Complete bi-weekly one on one agenda and scheduled time with Construction Manager
  • Knowledge and experience with plasma cutting and torching
  • Knowledge and experience with MIG welding
  • Forklift and Scissor Lift certified
  • Electrically certified for use in project implementation and electrical maintenance
  • Confined Space Entry – reclaim project implementation, setup, and maintenance
  • Completes Parts on Hand ordering, receiving and organization in Mike's Carwash construction trailers
  • Mike’s Carwash Fleet/Trailer upkeep, organization and cleanliness of work area in tool trailers
  • Shop area cleanliness and organization
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures
  • Supports location operational needs on as needed basis
  • Completes other duties as assigned
Work Schedule Expectations
  • Typically works Monday through Friday – schedule may fluctuate depending on project demands
  • Occasional overnights or weekend work may be required by the Construction/Project Team Members depending on project requirements
  • Works up to 40 hours each week, all overtime must be approved by the Construction Manager
  • Work 5 days each week unless otherwise approved by Construction Manager
  • Work 5 days the week of Christmas, including 12/24 or 12/26 unless using PTO
  • Extended time away from home may be required for out of market builds including time spent residing in hotels during weekly stays
  Position Qualifications
  • General mechanical knowledge
  • Experience with basic hand tools and power tools
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A clean driving record
