Corrections Officer

Corrections Officers are responsible for ensuring the care and welfare of prisoners confined within the Jail while using proper safety methods and techniques. Corrections Officers must possess the ability to successfully complete the State of Ohio approved basic corrections course. This is a non-sworn position. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, must be able to keyboard at least 30 wpm and able to pass a fitness test.
