Corrections Officer

The City of Middletown is accepting applications for the position of Corrections Officer and will conduct an open competitive examination.  All applicants will take a written and physical agility test on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.  Work involves providing for the care of individuals incarcerated in the City Jail.  Corrections Officers rotate through three separate shifts.  Starting salary:  $33,216 annually with excellent benefits package. Starting salary does not include shift pay, overtime, and clothing allowance.

High School Diploma or GED with any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. (See the attached position description on the City of Middletown's Website http://www.cityofmiddletown.org/jobs).
