Digital Printing Press Operator

A Locally owned and operated company located in the Fairfield area is seeking a experienced Digital Printing Press Operator for a 2nd shift position. The hours are 3:30pm - 12:00am, Monday - Friday with OT as needed. This position does require an understanding of RIP software (Fiery is preferred), the ability to review color, read and interpret work orders and production schedules and the willingness to work as a team. You must have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Job responsibilities are as follows:

Set-up, operate and maintain digital imaging 4-color press and UV coating line
Review all proofs and final product samples produced on digital equipment before releasing to internal or eternal customers
RIP files produced from data files using digital print equipment
Conduct regular maintenance on equipment and record maintenance and service calls in maintenance log book
Work enthusiastically to meet or exceed all performance goals
Maintain professionalism and personal performance at all times
Manage role with a sense of understanding of changing priorities, sense of urgency, execution of results and support for the team

 

Prior experience with digital printing press or printing press experience is needed.

In order to be considered for this position you must have a HS Diploma or GED and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
