Description
The Engineering Technologies Instructor will assume responsibility for the delivery of quality education to junior and senior high school students in courses including Engineering Principals, Engineering Design, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Mechanisms and Drives, and Robotics. This instructor is a Butler Tech employee stationed at Colerain Career Center.
STARTING DATE: August 2019
BENEFITS: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; tuition reimbursement
WORK YEAR: 185 days - 7.5 hours/day (Follows Northwest Local Schools calendar)
SALARY: $42,002.00 to $87,615.00 /year
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree - preferably in the areas of Mechanical Engineering Technologies, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technologies, or similar field;
Miniumum of two years work experience in the engineering, automation, and/or robotics fields;
Willingness and ability to obtain appropriate licensure through the Ohio Department of Education (ODE);
Strong knowlege of 3-D Modeling Software (SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.);
Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
Computer expertise appropriate to the position;
Willingness and ability to work with students and as a team member;

History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.
