Entry level arborist, habitat installer and invasive plant technician

Our growing company specializes in arboriculture, habitat enhancement, and invasive species suppression on a regional basis.  We are looking for entry level personnel to support both our arborist and habitat  enhancement services.  The company is growing rapidly and we are in need of people who like challenging work that requires fitness, attention to detail and a willingness to work in the canopy of trees.

We provide services that include traditional tree pruning and removal, tree diagnosis and treatment, tree risk assessments, and consultation.  Additionally, we help property owners to re-establish native plant communities in their backyards, rural property and farms.  We also provide management plans and maps for owners to help them manage their natural spaces and woodlots.  Our company is (7) years old and is growing very quickly.  Entry level personnel can acquire training very quickly to increase their knowledge and pay.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to grow into middle management over time.

Entry level arborist, habitat installer and invasive plant technician:
* The work environment includes using chainsaws and working in the canopy of trees. An ability to stay focused during the work day is paramount.
* Almost all of our work is outside and is physical in nature. The typical work includes but is not limited to:
- Chainsaw operation / moving tree limbs and logs / operating chipper - grinders / driving pick up trucks and trailers / roto-tiller operation / planting trees and shrubs either by hand or using a powered auger / chemically treating trees under supervision / suppression of invasive plants using chainsaws, herbicides and/or spray while under supervision
