Description
Effectively troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, & electrical systems on all equipment utilizing electrical prints & multi-meter and capable of utilizing notebook PC and programming software
Perform preventative maintenance -- remove and reinstall guards, fill oilers, and clean, lubricate, and inspect machinery. Identify, repair, and replace worn parts such as, but not limited to: rollers, lamps, chains, filters, and bearings
Align, level, and calibrate components such as, but not limited to: web deflections and speeds, axes, rollers, sanding heads, platens, magazines, hydraulic pumps and motors, and squaring of dogs
When an electrical/electronic component fails such as an AC drive, demonstrates the ability to specify a substitute component and successfully modify any wiring or programming to restore functionality
When a mechanical component fails such as a gearbox, cylinder, or shifting valve, demonstrates the ability to specify a substitute component and successfully modify the design to restore functionality
Fabricate items to a high level of quality such as: fences and guard rails, duct work, carts and stands, basic mill and lathe work, etc.
Utilize the CMMS to: create, maintain, and close work-orders and time cards; research and/or order parts; document work-order status and/or other pertinent information
Provide technical training / assistance to others

Job Requirements
High school diploma
Excellent communication skills
Previous maintenance experience with electrical, PLC and PC, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics
Self-motivated and positive attitude
