Fabrication Operator / Specialist – 2nd Shift

The regular schedule for this role is 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday, 2:00PM-10:00PM.

This role is also eligible for a 13% Shift Differential. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setup, operation and maintenance of all fabrication equipment including rolling mill, presses, ovens, induction heater, etc.
• Operation of WAS analyzer to verify alloy content.
• Maintenance of all paper and online documentation.
• Operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Clean all fabrication machines.
• Perform regular maintenance on machinery.
• Other related duties.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous fabrication/manufacturing experience is a plus.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability and willingness to read and understand all procedures and schedules.
• Ability and willingness to work effectively and safely as part of a small, specialized team.
• Computer skill and understanding of basic metallurgy are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work in hot environments.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
