Description
Job Summary:
A Field Service Technician visits our customers to provide services as needed. From installation
to general repairs, they are expected to answer questions and address the concerns of our
customers in a timely fashion. They are responsible for showing our customers how to use their
equipment. They need to be excellent problem-solvers, able to troubleshoot systems and
diagnose their specific problems. They also will be required to create reports of the customer
service calls. Our technicians must strictly always follow protocol to ensure the safety our
customers and their property.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage all on site installations, repairs, maintenance, and test tasks.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefing.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• Always follow safety protocol on site.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems based on customers non-technical descriptions.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Provide service and customer support during field visits.
• Provide support by managing parts inventory, customer service calls and preventative
maintenance schedules.
• Variations of the above duties may be required depending on conditions of company and
department business.
• Promoting the company’s services.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
• Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Engage in continuing education and seminars to remain up to date on the latest industry
techniques, machines, safety regulations and equipment.
