Field Service Technician

Become a trained field service technician that repairs and balances equipment onsite at customer locations. Field service technicians provide on-call support and travel to a variety of customer sites to address vibration issues, repair broken equipment, and recommend personalized solutions.

This job is a fantastic opportunity to learn and practice hands-on mechanical engineering skills, while gaining exposure to a wide variety of industrial environments.

*This position often incurs overtime including nights, weekends, and travel*

Experience Level: Entry Level

No previous experience required.
Previous customer interaction experience is preferred.
Familiarity with common tools and maintenance techniques is preferred.
Must display professionalism and politeness at all times.
Must be able to work effectively in a team and with new people.
Must be enthusiastic and willing to learn new things.
Must be able to build positive relationships with customers.
Must have a passion for determining the source of problems.

Manufacturing Equipment
Refining Equipment
Agricultural Equipment
Laboratories, Hospitals, Schools, Office Buildings, etc.

Examples of Services You May Perform:

Diagnostic Testing
Troubleshooting (over the phone and in person)
Vibration Analysis
Balancing
Repair Broken Equipment (sleeves, bearings, and shaft alignment)
Third Party Consultations
Research Replacement Parts
Research how to service new and developing technologies
