Firefighter/EMT

To establish an Eligibility List for the classification of Firefighter-EMT, the City of Middletown will be accepting applications and will conduct an open competitive examination.  Starting salary: $40,377 annually with excellent benefits. The written examination will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

Minimum Requirements:  High School Diploma or equivalent supplemented by courses in fire science technology or equivalent experience or training; possession of a valid Ohio Driver’s License. Applicants must provide a copy of current Ohio Firefighter and EMT Certifications at time of application or provide proof of enrollment in a Firefighter and EMT program at time of application. Recruitment and selection process to include written examination, physical ability test, interview, polygraph, medical exam, and drug test.
