FITNESS SUPERVISOR

The City of Blue Ash Recreation Center is seeking to fill a permanent part-time position of Fitness Supervisor.  We are looking for someone with exceptional people and leadership skills.  This is a supervisory position primarily responsible for ensuring quality fitness instruction, staffing, equipment management, and publicity.  This position reports to the Recreation Center Aquatics and Fitness Manager.

The Recreation Center has a fully renovated Fitness Center which includes a two-story fitness center, a jogging/     walking track, two exercise studios, a fitness assessment room, and many other technological amenities. A variety of incentive programs and group fitness classes are offered to create an environment of health, wellness and fun for all!

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

 Must have excellent knowledge of recreation and fitness,
 Ability to work with special populations,
 Flexible work schedule,
 Good physical condition,
 Ability to perform some physical labor, and
 Good customer service and public relations skills.
 Supervisory experience preferred.

Experience in dealing with the public in a group setting. Experience in fitness and recreation required. May be required to possess valid motor vehicle operator's license. Obtain and maintain a current CPR and First Aid certification.
